About Kathy

My father was the sole provider for our family, having only a second grade education, a heart of gold and a great love for God. He also had a love for the people he worked with in a textile mill. I so much admired his faith in God.

My mother stayed at home and took care of our grandmother and provided for me and my brother.

We grew up poor in material things but grew up rich because we had a close family and friends that loved us.

Mom took care of the bumps, bruises and nightmares. She would come to me and give me comfort. Overall life seemed to be simple when I was growing up.

It is amazing that my brother grew up to be a doctor and I was a nurse for years.

How did Mismatch Sue come about? She has been a reminder to me that everyone makes mistakes but true love is always forgiving!
